National Historic Landmark - Sheridan Inn
William F. ("Buffalo Bill") Cody operated this hotel in 1894-1896, catering principally to sportsmen. The frame building has a wide porch on two sides, on which Cody would sit to audition cowboys for his famous Wild West Show.
