National Historic Landmark-Timberline Lodge

Situated on the south slope of Mount Hood, at an altitude of 6,000' above sea level, this is widely regarded as the finest example of 1930s WPA "mountain architecture".

It was dedicated by President Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1937
