National Historic Landmark-William Blacklock House
National Historic Landmark-William Blacklock House
Constructed in 1800, this massive three-story brick house with hipped roof is an excellent example of the Adamesque style, well-proportioned, and of the highest design quality and sophistication.
The entrance is centered on the façade above a high English basement and reached by a stairway on either side. An elliptical fanlight, a particularly handsome and delicate feature, extends to cover sidelights that flank the front door.
