National Historic Landmark - William Trent House

National Historic Landmark – William Trent House

Built in 1719 by a Scottish merchant, this red brick with white trim structure is a distinguished example of an early Georgian house designed in the Queen Anne style.

The house has a handsome simplicity of straight lines, accentuated by bare arched windows, the bold cornice, and the absence of classically enriched doorways.
