"Old Spring Hill" St. Paul's Church
Established here between 1711 and 1725 as a chapel of ease for Green Hill Church (1694) located 8 miles sout on the Wicomico River. The present ediface was completed in 1773 to replace the original structure. Some of the original furnishings still in use.
Marker is at the intersection of Ocean Gateway (U.S. 50) and Main Street (Maryland Route 347), on the right when traveling west on Ocean Gateway.
