Adam Poe and Andrew
Poe while freeing
white captives,
engaged in combat
with a war party of
the Wyandott tribe
and killed the sons of
the Wyandott Chief.
Marker is at the intersection of West Virginia Route 2 and Ferndale Road (County Route 66/2), on the right when traveling north on State Route 2.
