Original site of the First Catholic Church in 1887
The present, remodeled bank building was constructed in 1936 as the second St. Malchy Church. In the early 1980's the structure was sold to the newly formed Sierra National Bank, which was acquired by the Bank of the Sierra in May 2000.
Marker is on West F Street, on the right when traveling east.
