Pittsburg State University Gymnasium

On this site stood the first university gymnasium/fieldhouse. Built in 1922, it was torn down in 1972, following the opening of the Garfield W. Weede Physical Education Building. Several bricks and the building plaque from the gymnasium are featured in this site marker.

Marker is on East Cleveland Street 0.1 miles west of South Joplin Steet, on the left when traveling west.
