Rickwood Field
Opening Day: August 18, 1910
Built by Birmingham industrialist A. H. “Rick” Woodward, Rickwood Field served as home to the Birmingham Barons and Birmingham Black Barons for most of the 20th century. Recognized as “America’s Oldest Baseball Park,” Rickwood Field is now home to Birmingham’s high school teams as well as men’s amateur teams and numerous tournaments.
