Simeon E. Baldwin

Inheriting high traditions of public service, he loved and served Connecticut as Justice and Chief Justice of its Supreme Court of Errors for seventeen years and as Governor for four years. He devoted a long life to his city, state and nation. A teacher in the Yale School of Law for fifty years. A founder of the American Bar Association. A worker for world peace.
