Erected 1774 (Queen Anne Parish, established, 1705) Prince George's County. In the church which preceded this present structure, George Washington and Robert Eden, last Royal Governor of Maryland, attended service, September 6, 1772, Reverend Jonathan Boucher, Rector.

Marker is at the intersection of Oak Grove Road and Church Road, on the right when traveling west on Oak Grove Road.
