Stone's Battery
"K" 1st MO. Lt. Art., W.H.L. Wallace's (2d) Div.,
Army of the Tennessee.
This battery, with two 10 pdr. and two 20 pdr. Parrott guns, was in action here from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 6, 1862. It then retired to position near the landing.
Marker is on Eastern Corinth Road 0 miles south of Corinth-Pittsburg Road, on the right when traveling south.
