Tennessee ~Tombigbee Waterway

Paducah: Mid~America's Gateway to the Gulf

This historic waterway reaches from Paducah to Mobile, providing a navigational artery between the upper Mississippi, Ohio and Tennessee Rivers and the Gulf of Mexico's east~west Intracoastal Waterway and deepwater ports. The Tennessee~Tombigbee Corridor includes 234 miles of constructed navigable waters with a 39~mile canal and 10 locks, impacting 23 states, it provides a connecting link for over 16,000 miles of inland waterways.
