Terlingua Abaja
This deserted farming village supplied produce for miners and ranchers of the area from 1900 until the 1930's. You are welcome to walk across Terlingua Creek into the heart of the rock and adobe ruins. It is hard to believe that the banks of Terlingua Creek were once studded with cottonwoods. Man has taken a heavy toll of this land.
Marker is on Gaging Station 1.5 miles west of Old Maverick Road.
