The Clough/Braden Home
Built in 1879, this was the home of Plumas County Judge and State Assemblyman Greenleaf Greeley Clough and his family for nearly a half a century.
In 1927 it became the home of Louis Archibald “Arch” Braden, elected to nine consecutive terms as Plumas County Sheriff from 1915 to 1950, when he retired at the age of 70.
The restoration and preservation of this historic edifice, now perpetuated as the Plumas Bank Administration Building, is gratefully attributed to the efforts of Ernest G. Leonhardt.
Marker is at the intersection of Jackson Street and Fillmore Street on Jackson Street.
