by the news of the approach
of the British Army
Placed in 1915 by the City of Richmond
at the request of the Commonwealth Chapter
Daughters of the American Revolution
Marker is at the intersection of East Cary Street and South 14th Street, on the left when traveling east on East Cary Street.
