The Mullaney Twins Memorial Parking Area
Dedicated to the memory of Lewis Harry Mullaney and Harry Lewis Mullaney, twin brothers, who gave their lives in the service of their country in World War II.
PFC Lewis Harry Mullaney entered the armed forces on July 18, 1942, he went overseas in April of 1943 and served as a member of the 52nd Army Medical Battalion in North Africa, Sicily and Italy where he made the supreme sacrifice on the battlefield on November 13, 1943.
Corp. Harry Lewis Mullaney entered the armed forces on the same day July 18, 1942. He went overseas on December 9, 1942 and served in the 66th Armored regiment in North Africa and France. He was wounded in North Africa in July 1943, recovered and returned to his unit in France and was killed in action on August 25, 1944.
Marker is at the intersection of County Street (Massachusetts Route 123) and South Main Street (Massachusetts Route 152), in the median on County Street.
