Was designed by the Architectural Firm of Holabird and Roche and is a classic example of Military Architecture. It was built in 1891 and was placed on the National Register of Historic Places by the United States Department of Interior on 4 December 1974.

Marker is on Leonard Wood Avenue South, on the right when traveling east.
