Thiensville Mills

Original mill built for John Thien by Henry Hayssen in 1842, and a sawmill in 1843. The grist mill burned in 1874 and was rebuilt in 1876 to 4 stories. It was the largest mill in the area. The present building was built on the 1842 foundation.

Marker is on Green Bay Road 0.1 miles north of North Main Street, on the right when traveling north.
