Trinity Episcopal Church-Apalachicola

This church is believed to be one of the first prefabricated buildings in Florida, having been prepared in New York andsent by ship to Apalachicola where it was assembled in 1837.

During the Civil War, it is reported that the church bell was donated to the Confederate army to be melted for cannons, and the

church carpets and cushions were made into army blankets.
