Van Wert Gazebo
Gazebo History
The Band Stand (Gazebo) was built in 1875 on the Court House lawn. It was moved in 1891 to Third Ward Park by George Marsh, and then to the County Fair Grounds in the early 1900's. The Trustees moved it to its current location in June, 1992.
Entered in the National Register of Historic Places by the National Park Service, United States Department of Interior in 1982.
Marker is on Washington Street (U.S. 127), on the right when traveling north.
