Waterford's Medieval Museum
Waterford's Medieval Museum is a tribute to life in the city during that period. Why not come and experience the wonder of our medieval city. A team actors playing different characters will bring to life Waterford’s fascinating history in these enjoyable and imaginative tours. As part of the complex, the medieval vaulted Chorister’s Hall survives and is one of the centrepieces of the new museum.
The new museum makes up one-third of the Waterford Museum of Treasures. The two other elements are Reginald's Tower, which covers Waterford’s Viking beginnings in 850 up to the Norman invasion, and the Bishop's Palace, which tells the city's story from 1700 to 1970.
Medieval Museum is open to visitors as follows:
June - August: Monday - Saturday, 9 am to 6 pm. Sundays and Bank Holidays, 11 am to 6 pm.
September - May: Monday to Saturday, 10 am to 5 pm, Sundays and Bank Holidays, 11 am to 5 pm.
Average length of visit is approx. 1 hour.

Children under 14 are free.
Family : €10.00 (2 adults & 2 children over 14)
Group rate over 8 people : €4.00 pp.
