Beedle, a railroad fireman rented this house. Mrs. Ann Walters, a widow, owned this property as well as a two-story frame house which stood on the two lots immediately to the right. Mrs. Walters used the rent as income to help support herself, her aunt, and her four children.

Marker is on 8th Street just south of E. Capitol Street.
